The Sacrament of Reconciliation is celebrated on Saturdays at 3:15 p.m.
The doors to the Daily Mass Chapel are open at that time and the Chapels of Reconciliation are off the hallway leading to the Meditation Walkway. You may always call to make an appointment for this sacrament.
In order to make First Reconciliation, you must be in second grade or older and be in Catholic school or Religious Education the year of the sacrament and the year prior.
“Those who approach the sacrament of Penance obtain pardon from God’s mercy for the offense committed against him, and are, at the same time, reconciled with the Church which they have wounded by their sins and which by charity, by example, and by prayer labors for their conversion.” (CCC 1422)
Act of Contrition:
My God, I am sorry for my sins with all my heart. In choosing to do wrong and failing to do good, I have sinned against You whom I should love above all things. I firmly intend, with Your help, to do penance, to sin no more, and to avoid whatever leads me to sin. Our Savior Jesus Christ suffered and died for us. In His name, my God, have mercy. AMEN
